How to set yourself to be successful with motivation

To find success within motivation is to set a goal. Contributing to goals can put you on the right path for schooling. Start by asking, what can I do to improve my learning experience? What am I doing it for? Is it an external or internal factor? Beginning with small adjustments will help to reach the end of your journey.

What are some things you can do?

As I approach more answers from students in my school. I asked them, what can you do as a student to improve your learning experiences at home? They responded about paying more attention in school, to have a positive mindset, going to bed on time, and a better workspace. Students want to stay away from distractions such as devices or a loud environment. As a student, you are in control of your own goals. If you believe this is something that it’s going to help you achieve that goal. Then make a list of improvements and start the process.

If a student needs more quality sleep, try a weekly schedule. For example, Let’s say student classes start early in the morning and end around three in the afternoon. If a student wants more free time, why not work on homework after school. The more work to finish early the more free time and quality sleep. It won’t be easy as I recommended, but to do the plan make a to-do list.

Now with the difficulties of following online classes. We all have our struggles of understanding lessons because it’s not the same in person. The only option is to try. In this transition, what else can we do? We want to pass all our classes with good grades.

Don’t give up because you’ll be okay no matter what happens. Remember it’s the effort that counts. I would recommend teachers and students to try and reach out to another. Communication has the purpose of listening and understanding others. Ask each other questions in breakout rooms to spread awareness.

Many students mentioned how they wished they were around their friends again. Students can see their friends every day at school. But that’s the bad part, cameras are off and mics muted. This can be an awkward situation, and it’s complicated. If you keep in contact with your friends outside of zoom but on the phone is easy. Then it would be better to talk to them over the phone or text them. Sometimes students can meet up in small groups being cautious as always in person. When everything opens up safely, we can all see our peoples soon.

Learning about yourself

I asked students if they’ve learned anything about themselves. Students acknowledged how they can be hard workers, lazy, and dislike school. They were able to plot the bad parts of their learning experience and how it disrupts them. This is the time to recognize your faults and make them into successes. Learning about what a student struggles with is good to turn things around. Start taking notes and begin this new change for yourself and your education.

Knowing strengths and weaknesses

What are your strengths and weaknesses? What’s something you like that gets you on your feet? What are some things that are leaving you in the dark? Create a chart for yourself and take notes and try to come back with a solution. That solution will be a goal that will help later on for your motivation. Once you’ve figured it out, you will be on top of it.
